SLOW COOKER STUFFING

1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1
tbsp. Parsley flakes
1 tbsp. Poultry seasoning (more or less according to
personal preference)
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
10 cups (or more) dry
cubed bread
¼ cup hard margarine or butter
2 tbsp. chicken bouillon
powder
4 cups hot water (I use half water and half chicken broth)

Mix
first 6 ingredients in large bowl and stir well. Add bread cubes
and
mix
well.

In a separate bowl, combine butter/marg., bouillon powder
and hot
water and
stir to melt butter & dissolve powder. Pour over
bread crumb mixture. Turn
into slow cooker. Cover & cook on low for 5 - 6
hours. If you prefer a
moister stuffing add more water & stir. Fluff with
fork. Makes at least 8
cups.

This is wonderful when serving a large
crowd at Christmas, Thanksgiving,
etc. Can also be made ahead, refrigerated
and heated in the microwave when
needed.

Enjoy!
